The development team at MachineGames and publisher Bethesda are offering a limited number of new details and more screenshots for their upcoming Wolfenstein: The New Order.

The game will focus on core concepts like The Assault, The Action, The Arsenal and The Adventure, designed to create an immersive new experience that redefines the first-person shooter genre.

Gamers will be able to fight enemies ranging from Nazi robots to Super Soldiers created via genetic experiences and elite human troops.

Players will be able to take the advanced technology of the Nazis, which they have used to conquer the world in the '60s and wield them in order to discover and foil their plans.

The new title will be created using an enhanced version of the id Tech 5 engine.

Wolfenstein: The New Order will be launched this year on the PC and on home consoles.
