WoW! You Can Buy the Burning Crusade Online

Great news for all those WoW loving gamers out there who didn't get a chance to get their own expansion pack yet. The package can now be downloaded from the official WoW website. Of course all this is possible only for those who already have a WoW account.

The download links can be found in the Account section. The client is available both for PC and Mac and different languages as well for Europe. You can download The Burning Crusade and the World of Warcraft installer also, in case you don't have the original discs.

An Expansion Key is also available online, for upgrading a normal account to The Burning Crusade. The price for a key is 34.99 Euro, plus taxes as the payment can only be made by credit card.

Although its initial release was hampered by some stability and performance issues, the game is the world's leading subscription based MMORPG. The subscriber base for World of Warcraft has reached 8 million players worldwide and more than 2 million of those are found in North America.

World of Warcraft has also come under criticism for stories of game addictions to the popular video game. In June of 2005 it was reported that a child had died due to neglect by her World of Warcraft-addicted parents. In August of that year, the government of the People's Republic of China decided to enforce control over how many hours the country's 20 million gamers can play.
