With the New Facebook Support Dashboard You Can Track Your Complaints to Completion

With close to a billion active users, most of them vaguely familiar with computers or the web, it's not hard to imagine that Facebook is facing a support nightmare. It can't possibly help all of its users via traditional ways, but it tries. 

The first line of defence and the most important ones is the Facebook Help Center which has more recently been joined by the Support Dashboard.

"The updated Help Center homepage features six major topics, including things like 'See What's New on Facebook' – which links to an overview of new features and products," Facebook explained.

This new and more visual approach should make it easier for users to get to the answers they seek as soon as they land on the help page.

The second half of the update is the Support Dashboard, which is now available internationally. The Dashboard makes it possible to track your complaints and see whether your actions had any effect.

You can check out the result of a report on inappropriate content for example and see if it has been reviewed, removed or not.
