Video game developer CD Projekt says that both The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director’s Cut and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition are now available with a 50 percent price cut on both Steam and on Good Old Games.

The offer is available until February 8 and gamers can pay just 9.99 dollars or Euro for the second game in the Geralt-powered series and half that price for the first installment.

The Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2 can also be bought for 29.99 dollars or Euro.

The drop in price is linked to the announcement of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which is being developed by CD Projekt using a new engine and should be out during 2014.

The two Witcher games offer some of the best action role-playing experiences available at the moment, with interesting stories, an exotic universe and solid combat.
