This stable release updated support for the Microsoft Network Monitor

The Wireshark Foundation has announced earlier today, September 11, that Wireshark 1.10.2, the world’s most popular network protocol analyzer, is now available for download, bringing updated protocols, updated capture file support, as well as lots of bugfixes.

There are no new features in this maintenance release of Wireshark 1.10, but the following protocols have been updated: ASSA R3, ASN.1 PER, Bluetooth HCI ACL, GTPv2, EtherCAT AMS, HTTP, IEEE 802.11, ISDN SUP, IPFIX, LDAP, NBAP, MQ, Novell SSS, Radiotap, PROFINET MRP, ROHC, SCSI, SIP, STP, and RTPS.

Support for pcap-ng and Microsoft Network Monitor was also updated. Moreover, lots of vulnerabilities have been fixed and numerous bugs have been squashed in this second maintenance release of the Wireshark application. More details can be found in the official release announcement.
