They're wireless yet have wires; can't say they lied

Well, it could sound like I'm just out from a motorbike accident (God forbid) and I am very, very confused when writing. As a matter of fact nothing is wrong, I'm well and my mind is very clear; nevertheless, the concept behind the new Arriva prototype iPod headphones could be a little weirder, but things are altogether very OK.[admark=1]

The upcoming Arriva headphones do not sport wires in the common accepted way of what wire-less means, namely without wires and sporting other communication methods such as Bluetooth, IR, other radio, smoke signals and so on.

Well, these headphones do not have such wires as they're actually built in the very body of the headgear; nothing is seen, nothing hangs nor dangles - "it's not there". At the same time, these wires have a very well-defined existence, they're real and (once more) so on. Unless they're not as "cable" as we might have expected in the first place.

The Arriva headphones prototype sports a connector in the back of the head which will allow you to hook up an iPod Shuffle whose socket also plays the support role, keeping the player in place. Neat, truly!

The Arriva headphones are recognized for the stubbornness with which they stick to peoples' heads and are destined for active sports persons or for people who generally are into a lot of movement and still want to hear their music. They are as well very flexible and virtually unbreakable, being able to fold many times and occupy a hilariously-small place in your pocket, hand, whatever.

The new model is patent pending and a price is TBA during the next 5-6 weeks as crave.net states. Until then and until thorough testing is performed by the customers themselves, we'll just say that water/splash proof iPod hooks will be soon available as well as custom ear buds.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
