WipEout 2048 Gets Lots of New Vita Screenshots

Right after confirming that WipEout 2048 will be a launch-day title for the upcoming PlayStation Vita, Sony has now posted a batch of new screenshots from the futuristic racing game.

The WipEout series has delighted plenty of gamers for many years, arriving originally for the first PlayStation and then branching out onto other platforms, including the PlayStation Portable or the PS3 home console.

Now, with the Vita set to make its debut in Japan this December and in Europe and North America next February, the racing franchise is right alongside it, in the form of WipEout 2048.

We’ve already heard that there will be lots of new tracks included in the game, as well as returning favorites from the PlayStation 3’s WipEout HD, not to mention cross platform multiplayer with players on the PS3.
