The Wine Library website owned by Gary Vaynerchuk was affected by a data breach as a result of which their customers may be exposed to credit card fraud.

It's not certain how it happened, but a letter sent to the potential victims reveals that the breach might have taken place sometime in October, TechCrunch reports.

The whole thing began after customers started complaining about fraudulent charges on their credit cards. A closer investigation revealed that an attacked that was hiding behind an IP address from China hacked into their systems possibly stealing the credit card information found in their databases.

The credit card information from their servers was deleted, but until further clarifications are made, their customers are advised to be on the lookout for any suspicious activities that might target their bank accounts.
