Alexandre Julliard, the leader of the Wine project, announced yesterday, June 15th, that a new stable version of the famous framework used to run Windows applications on Linux, is available for download. Wine 1.4.1 is the first point release of the stable Wine 1.4 branch, bringing only bug fixes and translation updates.
Among the apps and games fixed in Wine 1.4.1 we can mention Air Rival, Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, Adobe Acrobat 7/8, AutoCAD 2009 LT, POPO 2011, Runaway 3 "A Twist of Fate”, Just Cause, Celtic Kings, .NET Framework 3.0, Blizzard Launcher/Installer, Mount & Blade, LabView 2011, Renegade X, Legend of Grimrock, Ice Age 2, Perfect World, RaiderZ, Mathematica 6.0, Strong Bad's Cool Game, and much more.
