Alexandre Julliard, the leader of the Wine project, has announced that a new development version of their software is now available for download, bringing some minor bug fixes and improvement.

The most important changes in Wine 1.3.31 are BiDi text support in the single-line edit control, support for StretchDIBits and AlphaBlend in the DIB engine, a number of audio fixes, VBScript improvements, and the usual couple of hundred bug fixes.

Just perusing the full changelog we see some important games being fixed such as Mass Effect (mouse input won’t work), Team Fortress 2 (missing menu fonts), Plants vs Zombies (game lost sound when restarting), and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (issues with msvcp90.dll).

Download Wine 1.3.31 right now from Softpedia. Don't forget that this is a development release and it has known issues.
