On October 10, the Windows XP Embedded Team was releasing the Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2 Feature Pack 2007 Second Community Tech Preview, just two months after the
first CTP. Now Microsoft has announced that the official launch of Feature Pack 2007 is November 1, 2006.

Weijuan Shi, Program Manager of the Customer Strike Team has revealed on the Windows XP Embedded Team that registrations for the event are opened via the Windows Embedded Website. But on November 1st, Microsoft will launch not only the Windows XP Embedded SP2 Feature Pack 2007, as it will be accompanied by Windows Embedded CE 6.0.

"Craig Mundie, Chief Research & Strategy Officer of Microsoft, will be the keynote speaker. The speech will be broadcast live from Microsoft Studios," announced Weijuan Shi. Shabnam Erfani and Sean Liming will join Mundie with two separate Xpe sessions.

- Shabnam Erfani, the Lead Program Manager of FP 2007, the one and only, will have a presentation on "Introduction to Windows XP Embedded".

- Sean Liming, our beloved MVP, will present the session "What's New in Feature Pack 2007 for Windows XP Embedded".
