Your chance to win a trip to space courtesy of Microsoft and AMD is coming to a close. To celebrate the release of Windows Vista, Microsoft, together with AMD have devised a plethora of puzzle games
both online and in the real world. A single winner will be able to win a trip to the edge of space via the Rocketplane.

Microsoft and AMD are offering a total of half a million dollars in prizes to players that have become involved in solving the Vanishing Point puzzles. Microsoft has offered clues to the puzzles both online and in the real world through various events around the world.

"To celebrate the upcoming consumer release of the Windows Vista™ operating system, AMD and Microsoft Corp. have launched Vanishing Point, the largest puzzle game in the world. Although many clues have been disclosed online, parts of the puzzle are being revealed at real-world events, including a first-ever takeover of the Bellagio Hotel and Casino fountains, cryptic skywriting messages, and projections appearing on iconic structures around the world," stated Microsoft.

The Redmond Company has presented the final real world clue to the participants of Vanishing Point. If prior clues have been unveiled in Australia, Las Vegas or Berlin, for the final real world event, Microsoft has returned home, to Seattle. A spectacular fireworks show took place on Saturday January 27, 2007, at the Seattle's Gas Works Park, preceded by a message from the game's host.
