Are you struggling with your Windows Vista skills? Is the latest operating system from Microsoft simply too much for you? Too much of a challenge? Too new? Having upgraded to Windows Vista many find themselves in unfamiliar territory. Some people are resistant to change. But what do you do when your livelihood is strictly dependent on your Windows Vista talents? One way is to gather all available resources on the operating system and get to work.

The easiest way out and the obvious alternative is a Vista training camp. With the general availability of the operating system and with the increasing adoption rate, it's bound that Vista will end up on a desktop near you soon enough. Windows Vista training camps will ensure that you will not be caught off guard. Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates recently announced that approximately 40 million Windows Vista licenses have been shipped in the first 100 days since January 30, 2007.

In this context, firms offering IT training are looking to build on the success of Windows Vista. And as the market share of Windows XP is eroded in Vista's favor, IT personnel will seek certification in accordance with the new operating system. Vista is the future after all.

The one downside to Vista training camps is that although they do not cost time and a great deal of effort, they will instead weight heavily on the pockets of the participants. Philadelphia-based Training Camp for example is offering courses at $4,000 with the promise that "with Microsoft's latest operating system, Windows Vista, Configuration Training Camp course is a necessity to remain current. Windows Vista offers increased reliability, security and reliability, all features that you will learn how to manage. This 3-day course will provide the fundamental skills and knowledge to install, configure, and manage Windows Vista. As a Microsoft Certified Partner, Training Camp offers the core curriculum in an accelerated learning format guaranteeing transfer of skills and knowledge that you will use immediately."

But Training Camp is not alone in orbiting Windows Vista. Learn IT, ETEC and CED Solutions are all looking to make a buck or two from the operating system according to ComputerWorld. And with the operating system growing in popularity as the installed base will expand, Vista knowledge will become a must.
