What is the taste of Windows Vista? What does Windows XP smell like? How does Windows 98 feel against your hand? What aromas are there hidden under the hood of the Windows operating system, lost between the multitude of code lines? I am sure that these perfectly legitimate questions have more than once come to your mind. And the fact of the matter is that today you will be able to satisfy your curiosity, at least when it comes
down to Microsoft's latest operating system.

Windows Vista tastes like bubbles. Nothing could be simpler to imagine. This is the effervescent taste of the Wow: bubbles all around, for the tasting pleasure of your papillae. Well, in all fairness, the taste of bubbles is not exactly associated with the Redmond company's latest Windows client, but instead with personalized cans of sparkling water. But look at it this way - while the operating system is at just over nine months of general availability, and selling like hot cakes, you can always have a cold Windows Vista to drink.

Still, there is a single downside to this scenario, and that is the fact that the Windows Vista branded sparkling water is available exclusively inhouse over at Microsoft. The Redmond company made available the Lemon-Lime flavored soda since 2006 to both its employees and the visitors of its main campus, long before the actual operating system hit the shelves, or even was released to manufacturing.

The video fragment embedded at the bottom is the first example of an initiative designed to document on video the actual experience of drinking Windows Vista. And while the mass of Microsoft workers has now passed the 80,000 milestone worldwide with a considerable number of visitors taking the road to the Redmond campus every day, chances are that the closest you will ever be able to come to a Vista soda is through the video below.
