The wallpapers included in Windows Vista Starter edition are just such an example. Windows Vista Starter edition is designed to bring technology to the emerging markets around the world. In this respect, Windows Vista Starter stands out from all the other editions of Windows Vista. Enterprise is the only other Windows Vista edition with a dedicated public, Microsoft's Software assurance customers that can purchase it through volume licenses.
And although Microsoft has overhauled the visual style of Windows Vista, one design aspect of the operating system remained traditional, with the exception of Vista Ultimate and DreamScene. While the core Vista edition ships with a common collection of wallpapers, the Starter version has a separate set of static backgrounds.
