Windows Vista prize packages are an integer part of a Microsoft initiative designed to educate consumers about the Certified for Windows Vista logo program. And Microsoft has not held back
when it came to putting the money where its mouth is, as "the total ARV of all prizes to be awarded during the Promotional Time Period is $65,579.87." The Promotional Time Period spread between March 5, 2007 and June 17, 2007.
During no less than 15 weeks, Microsoft will accept entries into the Windows Vista "look for the logo" sweepstakes, and the company has already reserved a plethora of prizes for the winners. Each week Microsoft will offer three prizes worth $1385.98, $1184.98 and $985.98 to three lucky winners. The Windows Vista Free Packages are sets of hardware and software that are certified for Windows Vista, no big surprise there!
As the sweepstakes will continue until mid June you still have more than sufficient time to enter. All you have to do is visit one of the websites belonging to a Microsoft partner and identify the "Certified for Windows Vista" logo with the weekly-updated four digit code. Then simply enter the code along with your personal data
here. The only downside is that only US citizens can participate in the sweepstakes. Additionally, Microsoft has taken onto itself to demonstrate the benefits of the logo program with an initiative dubbed Certified for Windows Vista Digital Memories Demo.
"Over the last couple of months, we've been working on some Certified for Windows Vista demo videos, which I'll be posting over the coming weeks. We shot the videos at my house to showcase a bunch of the Certified for Windows Vista and Works with Windows Vista devices and how they all work together and take advantage of some of the great new features in Windows Vista. We shot the videos using Canon's new high-def HV20, which is Certified for Windows Vista," revealed Nick White, Microsoft Product Manager.
