No Express upgrades have been served to this point

Users have not yet seen the end of their Windows Vista Express Upgrades. In fact, they are still far from witnessing the beginning. Because Microsoft has redefined the meaning of "express." Under the slogan "the best for today and tomorrow," Microsoft has backed the Windows Vista Express upgrade during the holidays enabling PC customers to acquire machines preloaded with Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, or Windows XP Professional and then upgrade to Windows Vista following the operating system's retail availability.

The main incentive for the Windows Vista Express upgrade program was the fact that the upgrades were offered for very low prices and even for free. And customers jumped at that chance. However, one of the issues that plagued the commercial availability of Windows Vista is the fact that Windows Vista Express upgrades are anything but express...

At over three weeks since Vista has hit the shelves, not a single Windows Vista Express upgrade has been served to customers. But the situation might be changing in this respect. Even though upgrades have not begun shipping, speculations reveal that customers may get their money's worth as of the coming week. However, this information was not confirmed in any way by Microsoft, or the Redmond Company's partners.

However, a fragment of the Windows Vista Express upgrade sign-in form reveals that customers might have to wait from eight to ten months to receive their respective Vista upgrade after the commercial launch of Windows Vista.
