Support and compatibility issues are among the top shortcomings of Windows Vista since its commercial launch on January 30 2007. Moreover, among the static associated with both these problems I even caught criticisms directed at Microsoft. Some users have failed to comprehend that it is the responsibility of the software developer and not Microsoft's to deliver functionality for Windows Vista. But I guess that Microsoft is easier to blame, than say Apple or Adobe that have been dragging their feet to produce support for Vista.

Microsoft has announced that approximately 20,000 drivers have shipped in the box with Windows Vista and that an additional 12,000 drivers have been initially made available through Windows Update. This is because with Windows Vista, the Redmond Company is also pushing drivers through its automated update delivery system. And in this respect, Windows Vista will always be a work in progress as drivers will continually be added for the operating system.

But if Windows Update fails to help you with your support issues on Windows Vista, then you will be happy to know that there is a great resource available containing a luxuriant offering of drivers for Microsoft's latest operating system.

Vista users will no longer have to visit the individual websites corresponding to the manufacturers of the devices on their system. RadarSync has centralized the majority of driver resources on a web page dedicated entirely to Windows Vista. ATI, Creative, Dell, Intel, NVidia are among the manufactures that offer Vista support for a range of products, and that have been centralized by RadarSync.
