Purchasing apps and games through the Windows Phone Store should become more appealing in Russia before the end of this year, as Microsoft is reportedly gearing up for the launch of carrier billing for the service in this country.

The feature will be available in June or July for the subscribers of wireless carrier Beeline, a subsidiary of VimpelCom, WP7Forum notes. Android users in the country are already enjoying the feature, WMPoweruser reports.

What this means is that users will be able to purchase applications and games from the software portal and have them charged on their monthly bills, without the need to enter additional credit card information.

Undoubtedly, this is only one of the steps that Microsoft will take towards making the content in the Windows Phone Store more accessible to its users, and similar deals will be announced in the not too distant future.
