Windows Phone Store Available in 37 New Markets, More Features Added

Microsoft has just announced that its Windows Phone Store has been expanded to additional markets. Furthermore, the Redmond-based company added new features to its store in order to improve the overall user experience.

Windows Phone Store is now available in the following markets: Angola, Armenia, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Congo (DRC), Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guinea, Haiti, Honduras, Kenya, Liechtenstein, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Mali, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Niger, Pakistan, Paraguay, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Togo, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

The search function has been improved to offer more accurate results. New categories have been added as well, including Collections.

With the universal search feature users will now be able to see all search results in one place. In addition, the web Store now has support for installing apps via SD card.

Last but not least, the app reinstallation feature has been improved and now allows users to reinstall their apps on other Windows Phone devices in case they upgrade to a new one.
