Taiwanese mobile phone maker HTC Corporation is expected to bring to the market in the near future a new handset that will run under Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system, and which has just started to emerge around as HTC PI86100.

The smartphone was spotted over on the Occasional Gamer’s stats site, and was also seen at the Bluetooth SIG and at the WiFi Alliance.

For the time being, there are not too many details available on the new device, except for the fact that it will pack the said connectivity capabilities, and that it will run under Windows Phone.

Chances are that the new mobile phone will end up becoming only a flavor of one of the already released Windows Phone handsets from HTC, though we would expect it to turn out into a new device. After all, HTC is still the largest provider of Windows Phones.
