Windows Phone 8 devices have started to become official since late August, yet no specific release date for them was provided as of now.

However, at least one of these phones has got a release date confirmed for it, namely the Windows Phone 8X by HTC, which is listed at Orange Switzerland with a November 2nd launch day next to it.

The smartphone can be purchased from the wireless carrier for free on an 85 CHF (around £56 / $91) monthly plan.

HTC’s new mobile phone comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a dual-core processor inside, and an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities.

“With Windows Phone 8X by HTC, you can capture your greatest moments with an ultra-wide-angle front-facing camera—perfect for self-portraits and full-screen Skype calls,” the wireless carrier notes on it website.
