Not only was Nokia’s Lumia 920 smartphone made available for purchase in Europe in Russia today, but HTC’s Windows Phone 8X smartphone also became available in another nearby country, Ukraine.

The smartphone will make its way to Russian stores next week, but can be acquired today in Ukraine for 5,999 Ukrainian hryvnia ($730 / €570).

According to Winphonelive.ru, the smartphone will be followed by Windows Phone 8S in December, at a price tag of 3,399 Ukrainian hryvnia ($415 / €324).

Both these devices provide users with appealing new features powered by the Windows Phone 8 platform, although many see them only as mid-level devices.

Both handsets have been made official in September, but HTC has started to push them to shelves only this month, following the official launch of the Windows Phone 8 platform on October 29.
