One of the features that Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 operating system did not include when brought to the market was FM Radio support, yet it seems that the company might add it to its mobile OS in the not too distant future.

According to WindowsPhoneMania.pl, while Microsoft did not have time to include the feature inside its OS right from the start, hardware support is there, and it will release a software update for users to enable it.

The FM Radio support was already present in Windows Phone 7.5 devices, and it would make sense for Microsoft to deliver it to Windows Phone 8 users as well.

Furthermore, it seems that the software giant is also planning on upgrading the Bluetooth stack from 3.0 to 4.0 in the not too distant future, as it is supported by the chipset as well.
