Windows Phone 8 Users Get Microsoft Store 2.0 App

Redmond-based software giant Microsoft has made available for download through the official Windows Phone Store portal a new flavor of its Microsoft Store application, now available as version 2.0.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the mobile software was made available for all those interested in learning more on the latest products available for purchase through the company’s retail locations.

The app also provides users with the possibility to shop online for products they are interested in, including the Surface tablet PC, Windows 8, Xbox games and the like, all straight from the handset.

Furthermore, the application enables users to easily schedule an appointment with a specialist for the Answer Desk and Personal Training.

The Microsoft Store app also delivers info on various events that have been scheduled in a local store, so that users could see what to attend.

It will provide specific info on where the nearest Microsoft Store is located, complemented by store details such as map and directions and will also deliver Microsoft Store news from Facebook, Twitter and the Microsoft Blog.
