EE (Everything Everywhere) customers in the UK will be happy to know that Nokia and Microsoft have just kicked off the rollout of the long-awaited Windows Phone 8 GDR2 update for Lumia 920.

The update is pushed OTA (over the air), so Nokia Lumia 920 owners might want to check if their devices are eligible for upgrade by heading to Settings / Software Updates.

In the same piece of news, Irish carrier O2 lists the Windows Phone 8 GDR2 for Nokia Lumia 620 as “coming soon,” but WMPoweruser reports that the update is already available for download. Those who have yet to receive it should wait a bit longer, as Nokia and Microsoft are delivering this one in waves.

Windows Phone 8 GDR2 brings lots of improvements to Skype, Internet Explorer, Xbox Music and a lot more other services. It also adds new camera features and Data Sense.
