Lumia 920, 820 and 620, along with HTC 8X and 8S are now up for purchase

As expected, UK-based carrier Vodafone has announced the immediate availability of five new Windows Phone 8 devices: Nokia Lumia 920, 820 and 620, as well as HTC 8X and 8S.

All five smartphones are now available for purchase from Vodafone, both online and at brick and mortar locations, for no upfront cost on select plans: “as of today, our stores will be stocked with all five of our new Windows Phone 8 devices.”

Nokia Lumia 920 is available with no upfront cost on the 24-month Vodafone Red Data plan for £42/ €48 / $65 a month, which includes unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 2GB of data.

The Lumia 820 is up for grabs at no upfront cost on the 24-month Vodafone Red plan for £33 / €38 / $51 a month, which includes unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 1GB of data.

The cheapest Windows Phone 8 launched by Nokia, the Lumia 620 is available for free on a 24-month contract for £21 / €24 / $33 a month, which includes 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data.

HTC’s flagship’s Windows Phone smartphone, the 8X is now available at Vodafone for no upfront cost on a 24-month Vodafone Red plan for £33/ €38 / $51 a month, which includes unlimited calls, unlimited texts and 1GB data.

On the other hand, HTC 8S can be had for free on a 24-month contract for £21 / €24 / $33 a month, which includes 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data.

However, these are the lowest plans required for any of the five Windows Phone 8 devices, so for the full list of price plans offered by Vodafone UK customers should check out the carrier’s online shop here.

Keep in mind that aside from Nokia Lumia 620, none of the Windows Phone 8 devices is available on PAYG (pay as you go).
