Windows Phone 8.1, the latest mobile operating system version coming from Redmond-based Microsoft, has been unveiled with a nice range of enhancements packed inside, and one of them appears to be related to the experience that users receive from it when reinstalling already purchased apps.

According to a series of slides that emerged online over at nokiapoweruser, the platform will provide users with a list of apps they have already bought, where each of them will have an install button next to it, instead of a buy button as before.

Moreover, users will also be provided with details on when they purchased an app in the aforementioned list, as can be seen in the screenshot above.

However, other enhancements will be there as well, such as the possibility to enjoy in-app purchases even in landscape mode, a feature that was not available in the Windows Phone 8 version of the OS.

Windows Phone 8.1 will also provide users with the option to install apps on the MicroSD memory card slot, just as Microsoft officially unveiled last week.

Moreover, it will also include an auto-update feature, which means that users will not have to search for and approve updates manually.

According to Microsoft, Windows Phone 8.1 is set to become available for download sometime this summer, yet no specific release date for it has been provided as of now.
