Those who have been lucky enough to update to Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 will be pleased to know Microsoft is now rolling out a minor update for their devices.

For the time being, the update was only confirmed for the Nokia Lumia 1520, but other smartphones may get it as well. According to MyNokiaBlog, OS version 8.10.14157.200 is now being rolled out OTA (over the air) to Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview Update 1 adopters.

Microsoft has yet to announce any new update for the latest version of Windows Phone, which is why it’s hard to tell what changes the minor update that’s currently deployed to Developer Preview Update 1 devices brings.

In fact, the update may not be that minor after all, so if you successfully captured OS version 8.10.14157.200 and noticed any difference, please let us know in the comments. Also, it would be helpful if you could also specify the smartphone you’re carrying.

Microsoft has yet to complete the Windows Phone 8.1 rollout to all compatible smartphones, and it looks like some things already need to be fixed or added. The current update might just address some issues that have been discovered by Microsoft’s engineers after the deployment of the update started.

We will probably know more in the next couple of days, as firmware OS version 8.10.14157.200 makes its way to more Windows Phone devices, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
