Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 platform is set to hit the market sometime before the end of the ongoing year, bringing forth a new approach to mobile phone usage. The Redmond-based software giant unveiled a great amount of info on the upcoming operating system and on the handsets that would run under it, yet there is still a wide range of unknown details.

Among these unknown facts, one can count info on the Office hub the Windows Phone 7 OS will land on devices with. We all knew that there would be native Office support included in the upcoming mobile platform, but little was unveiled until now on what features and functionality would become available for users.

Thanks to two new recently published videos featuring the Office hub on Windows Phone 7, one can learn more on the next-gen mobile product coming from Microsoft. The first of the fresh videos shows what the solution can offer in the email and calendar area. The experience seems to be an appealing one, especially since we can see there a PowerPoint file being opened from the email client, edited, and then sent back to the original source.

The second video will offer users the possibility to take a closer look at the actual Office hub in Windows Phone 7. The clip delivers a glimpse of the Word editor, which looks pretty impressive. One should easily notice that there seems to be a tight integration between the docs on the handset and those shared into the cloud.

There's nothing else we can add here, so you should hit the videos embedded at the end of this article to learn what the Office hub in Windows Phone 7 is all about. A great user interface, pretty amazing features and much more is headed our way, that's for sure. However, it still remains to be seen how things will work on the handsets that will land on the market, so stay tuned for more.
