Zagat Survey provides consumer survey-generated reviews on a variety of media platforms including print, the web, mobile devices, in-car and personal navigation devices, TV and radio.

Its presence is well established in more than 100 countries worldwide, which are covered by the company's reviews.

“It is our mission to provide our users with Zagat content wherever and whenever they want it,” said Nina Zagat, Co-Founder, Co-Chair, Zagat Survey.

“We are thrilled that our flagship ZAGAT TO GO app is one of the first to launch on the exciting new Windows Phone 7 platform,” added Nina.

The application comes with a special virtual diary of the Zagat restaurants, Zagat Dining Journal, which the user has visited during a certain period.

Customers of the restaurants will be able to rate their experience in these restaurants and marking their presence with the “Been Here” tag into their Dining Journals, in the restaurant's detail page.

Furthermore, Windows Phone 7 panoramic view enables users to take advantage of the app's wide range of features. Thanks to the integration with Bing, users will be able to find certain restaurants in their area, when they enable the GPS' “nearby” search feature.

Restaurants can also be searched by Zagat's signature Food, Decor and Service scores. A more advances search pattern offers users the possibility to find their favorite restaurants by cuisine and atmosphere.
