Owners of a mobile phone that runs under Microsoft's Windows Phone operating system who also own a Mac computer will be happy to learn that a new version of the Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac applications is now available for download. The new release of Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac brings along support for WP Mango, the next flavor of the mobile platform.

Compatible with any Windows Phone 7 device out there, as well as with the Zune HD, the new application release comes with support for Mac OS 10.6.6 or higher, as well as with a great deal of syncing options.

With it, users will find it easy to sync photos and videos between the mobile phone and the Mac computer, while also being able to update the Windows Phone 7 software on the device when needed.

However, these are only some of the features that this application already had to offer to its users, not to mention that some more of them were added in the newly updated release.

Made available for download today, the new Windows Phone 7 Connector 2.0 offers support for English, Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and weighs in at 6.5 MB.

The release notes for the new Windows Phone 7 Connector version includes:

At the same time, the new version of Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac comes with a series of bug fixes packed inside.

One of them was meant to solve an issue with the device update process, through the addition of more error codes and help references.

Moreover, the new application release brings a fix for various connectivity issues that emerged with certain devices, and resolves a problem with the display of album art for certain handsets.
