Windows Phone 7 is set to become available on the market only a few weeks from now, and new info on what it should be able to offer to users emerged, in the form of a video of its browser, which was compared to what the solutions available on iPhone or Android 2.2 can deliver.

The 10-minute video below is meant to offer an extensive walkthrough of the browsing experience on Windows Phone 7, though it seems that the actual performance of the solution should be different when into the wild, as this is only a prototype device.

The video was shot by the guys over at PocketNow, and the Windows Phone 7 mobile platform, along with the Internet Explorer browser included with it, are loaded on an LG GW910 (Panther) device.

The mobile phone has just passed through FCC and packs Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 OS in a side-sliding design, but no specific info on what its internal circuitry were unveiled.

Even so, PocketNow notes that the hardware and software are not final, and that this makes the experience the browser in Windows Phone 7 can offer seem even more appealing when compared to the one offered by iPhone or Android 2.2.

At the same time, they note that the browser seems to be working pretty nicely, and that it shows website load times that are competitive with the time loads of other top smartphone browsers.

The solution also comes with great tab management, can load multiple tabs at the same time, and shows smooth panning/scrolling/zooming.

Of course, there are a lot of other things that are missing from the equation, such as HTML5 and Flash support, but things are shaping up great for the time being.

Hopefully, Microsoft would manage to make Windows Phone 7 Internet Explorer run smooth even when additional technologies would be included into the mix, though it remains to be seen whether it actually manages to do so or not.
