The Windows Phone 7.8 platform upgrade, which started to arrive on Windows Phone 7.5 devices in late January but ceased doing so before the end of February, is now available for download once again for Vodafone’s customers in Australia.

The wireless carrier has announced earlier this week that those who own a device eligible to receive the update should soon be notified on its availability.

The deployment of Windows Phone 7.8 was halted due to some issues with the Live Tiles, but all has been resolved, the carrier says.

According to Vodafone, its HTC 7 Trophy, Nokia Lumia 610 and Nokia Lumia 800 users should receive the update by April 11, as Microsoft is committed to deliver the new software to all users by that date. Keep an eye on this space for more info.
