As we reported earlier today, AT&T and Microsoft are expected to roll out the hotly-anticipated Windows Phone 7.8 for Nokia Lumia 900 later today.

Well, it appears that the AT&T Lumia 900 might not be the only device to receive the upgrade today. The folks over at WPCentral have just learned via WPDang that Microsoft planned to start the deployment of the Windows Phone 7.8 today starting 18.00 GMT.

According to WPDang, the update will be pushed to all Windows Phone 7.x devices (WP7.5 and older) in four waves over the next three weeks.

This means that not all those who own an older Windows Phone device will receive the update at the same time. However, we will probably know more in a couple of hours, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
