The wait for Windows Live Wave 4 is almost over. According to various third-party sources, Microsoft is gearing up to release both Windows Live services and clients next month. The Redmond company has yet to confirm officially June 2010 releases for Windows Live Wave 4, but numerous leaks from the software giant indicate that Windows Live Wave 4 is just around the corner. By the looks of it, Microsoft will start opening up access to Windows Live Essentials Wave 4, but also to Windows Live Wave 4 services.

When it announced that it had debuted the limited Beta testing program for Windows Live Wave 4, the software giant made it clear that it had three focus points, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Hotmail, and Windows Live Essentials. Microsoft already provided details about Windows Live Messenger Wave 4 and Windows Live Hotmail Wave 4, and Windows Live Essentials Wave 4 are obviously next in line.

At the bottom of the screen, you will be able to find a new video illustrating a few changes that are coming to the next generation of Windows Live Essentials (via LiveSide). As it is the case with the upcoming versions of Messenger and Hotmail, the evolution of Windows Live Essentials will bring to the table deep integration with social networks such as Twitter and Facebook, but also many others. Just watch the video in order to get an idea of what Microsoft has planned for Windows Live Essentials Wave 4.

For those of you that are not familiar with Windows Live Essentials, Microsoft is offering a package of clients including Mail, Writer, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Family Safety, and Toolbar. Windows Live Messenger was considered a part of Essentials until Wave 4, however, it seems that the Redmond company is marketing it separately from the suite this time around.

And speaking of leaks, Microsoft support staff revealed on a post on Windows Live Solution Centre that the next-generation Windows Live SkyDrive and Windows Live Photo would be released on June 3, 2010. (also via LiveSide)
