A new special deal from Microsoft is now available, designed to catalyze the sales of subscriptions to its Cloud-based management and security service, dubbed Windows Intune.

The Redmond company launched the ‘Windows Intune 3 for 5 Offer’ on November 1, 2011 noting that the promotion will last until March 31, 2012.

The Microsoft Windows Intune 3 for 5 Offer is open to U.S. companies that are also actively enrolled in the Microsoft Partner Network (MPN) complete with a valid MPN ID. In addition, potential participants also have to have inked an active Microsoft Online Services Partner Agreement.

“Receive $500 for each of your first three qualifying customer Orders of Windows Intune up to a maximum of $1,500,” the Redmond company reveals.

“Qualifying “Order” means the first three unique U.S. customer orders with at least 10 seats of Microsoft Windows Intune Online Services subscription where company is listed as Partner of Record and submitted to Microsoft via the Microsoft Online Customer Portal at www.microsoft.com/online during the Promotion Period.”

The software giant stresses that companies being paid by their customers do not qualify for the offer.

“Offer available for the first 200 partners that meet the offer requirements during the Offer Period. This offer is non-transferable. Offer void where prohibited or restricted by law,” Microsoft added.

Microsoft’s J.J. Antequino has done the math and notes that partners can earn no less than $2,806 for selling just 30 Windows Intune seats.

However, a number of things need to happen in order to revenue to reach this sum. First off, Microsoft partners need to sell no less than 12 months worth of Windows Intune subscriptions at $11 per seat, for which they would receive $1,500 plus $712, for the actual service from Microsoft.

Then they also need to take advantage of the Big Easy 7 promotion, available until the end of 2011, in order to receive a 15% Partner Subsidy check. In the end, the total adds up to $2,806.
