14 DAY TRIAL // The new Windows Firewall Control reached a major version and the list of modifications really shows it.
The developer improved the main application window by redesigning it from scratch in order to improve the user experience. Icons have been upgraded with a new look and now there is only one instance of the notification dialog, as every alert is shown in the same dialog.
Also freshly added is the possibility to set subnet masks upon defining the remote addresses for a rule. Furthermore, the usability of the program has been increased by including new messages that better explain how the application works.
Some repairs are also present in this revision and one of them addresses the problem with the profile not being synchronized in the Control Panel window when opened, while the user changes the profile from the system tray area. A full list of modifications is available here.
