14 DAY TRIAL // Setting up the Windows Firewall isn’t such a difficult task, but there’s an application that could make it a lot easier, while also providing quick access to some hidden options.
It’s called Windows Firewall Control and it received an update only a few hours ago, as the developers behind the project have implemented not only bug fixes, but also some new options.
According to the release notes, “a new context menu was added to the ‘T’ allow button in the Notification dialog which allows the rule temporarily. Temporary rules support now auto deletion in 1 hour, 5 minutes or 1 minute.”
At the same time, version 4.0.1.0 packs fixes for some known issues, as well as updates for some of the built-in features.
