It applies repair for displaying duplicate notifications

The latest build for Windows Firewall Control is 3.9.1.2 and it includes a small set of modifications, most of them being fixes. General improvements are also available.

The developer addressed the problem with duplicate notifications being displayed when the users created a block rule that included at least one remote IPv4 range. The alerts would pop up twice when defining a remote port range as well, but this should no longer happen in the current revision.

Another issue that should no longer be cause for concern refers to remote IPv6 variations that are not validated properly in the editing rule window. Starting with this release, users can make settings such as fe80:: /64 or 2001::/128.

Windows Firewall Control is not a firewall per se. It is a utility that extends the functionality of the default firewall in Windows by allowing quick access to frequently used options.
