Windows Firewall Control software incremented its version number over the weekend to 3.7.0.2. It is a minor build that does not include any new features; instead, it focuses on increasing the functionality of the application.

The changelog shows only three entries, two of them being fixes to issues spotted in the earlier release.

The developer repaired the problem with Windows Firewall Control not starting with the operating system. The reason for this malfunction was the incorrect path in the shortcut.

Also fixed is the issue with the main application window display if the DPI is changed, because reloading with a different DPI value would not reset the previous setting.

The improvement available in this revision refers to CPU usage on Windows service. This has been reduced by disabling the read of system events when profile is not set to Medium Filtering.
