Microsoft is reportedly planning a file manager for the upcoming Blue

The leaked Windows Blue build revealed that Microsoft is working on a Metro file manager that would allow users to copy, delete and rename files without leaving the Modern UI.

While the Redmond-based giant hasn’t said a thing about it, Neowin.net has posted a screenshot of what seems to be a basic file manager that provides only the very essential options.

The interface is not at all appealing, and chances are that many users might actually prefer File Browser or File Brick, but it’s still a good thing that Microsoft is bringing a file manager in the Metro environment of its “reinvented” Windows platform.

If previous rumors are true, Windows Blue could see daylight in August, while a public beta of the operating system is expected to be released to users for testing purposes in June.
