Even though we’re getting closer to the official launch date of Windows Blue, Microsoft is already working on Windows 9, the next full Windows contraption scheduled to go live in November 2014.

While the company hasn’t said a word about Windows 9, it’s believed to bring lots of improvements to the Modern UI introduced by Windows 8, but also a major overhaul of the desktop working environment.

The Metro mode would play a much more important role, especially because Windows 9 would be offered not only on desktop PCs, but also on tablets.

Conner Monsees, a DeviantArt user, created what seems to be one of the most gorgeous interpretations of a future Windows Control Panel and, given the fact that Blue won’t bring any major change in this regard, let’s just hope that Windows 9 will make a difference.
