Windows 9 Preview is expected to be unveiled next month if everything goes as planned, but it’s not yet clear whether this early build of the operating system could come with most of the options on the table for the final product, or Microsoft only plans to provide limited access to the feature lineup.

In the meantime, designers across the world are hard at work to use the available information in order to create their very own interpretations of Windows 9, some of which look really appealing for the majority of users.

This is the case of a concept crated by DeviantArt member ngoctuanitpy, who posted a new design imagining a revised Start screen which now features live tiles with transparency and a slightly different layout with power options on the left and a clock on the right.

Word is that Microsoft could remove the Charms bar in Windows 9, so placing the clock, which is currently part of this feature, in the right upper corner does make sense.

The transparent live tiles really look great and somehow get really close to the concept of interactive tiles that Microsoft Research demoed with several occasions, but it remains to be seen if the company is ready to introduce such an option in its operating system.

Windows 9 is expected to debut in April 2015, while the preview build should be here in late September or early October.
