Windows 9 is expected to bring some major changes for Windows users, including the comeback of the Start Menu, as well as the possibility to run Metro apps on the desktop in their very own Windows.

Designer Eorxroa has created a new interpretation of what could be the upcoming Windows 9, an operating system which might very well refresh the desktop with new icons, an All Apps shortcut on the desktop, an improved System Tray area and more.

This isn’t quite the best concept we’ve seen so far, but the designer claims that it was made in Photoshop, so a number of refinements could still be implemented.

As for the real Windows 9, chances are that we could see it on the market as soon as late 2014, as a new report is hinting that a preview version might be launched in just a few months.
