14 DAY TRIAL // Windows 9 concepts keep reaching the web, so today we get to see the so-called Windows 9 Developer Edition Concept that features basically everything you’d like to see on a desktop.
The concept comes with a brand new Start Menu that combines the classic UI with the Modern design, an All Apps icon, options to pin Metro apps and even a search icon on the taskbar, multiple desktops and many other great improvements.
As you can see, this concept still relies on the classic Windows look, but comes with several features supposed to enhance the overall experience on both the desktop and the Modern UI.
As for the real Windows 9, it’s expected to debut in early 2015 with many improvements, including a Start Menu and options to run Metro apps in their own windows on the desktop.
