14 DAY TRIAL // Windows 9 is very likely to be launched sometime next year and while Microsoft is yet to begin work on the project, according to some sources, designers are already envisioning some of the features to be part of the new release.
DeviantArt user MarkusMcNugen has created a new Windows 9 concept that envisions a new feature in the operating system that would allow consumers to use multiple desktops, just like on other platforms such as Ubuntu.
While that’s indeed a pretty good idea for those who want to keep things organized and improve productivity as much as possible, I’m not really sure that Microsoft is ready to bring multiple desktops in Windows, even though major changes are said to be prepared for Windows 9.
According to some rumors, Windows 9 could bring back the traditional Start Menu, along with options to run Metro apps in their own windows on the desktop.
