Designer creates another attractive interpretation of Windows 9

Nobody knows exactly the features to be implemented in Windows 9, but if it were to look just like the concept you’re seeing here, there’s no doubt that it would attract quite a lot of users.

DeviantArt user Devler gifted this Windows 9 concept with a much more appealing Start screen, obviously based on the one we have today in Windows 8.1, but featuring a completely new look.

You thus get a section with most recent apps, news, sites, a photo slideshow, a shortcut for all applications, a now playing section for the music player, weather, and current time.

The Start screen would obviously be completely optimized for the touch, so it would boast large fonts that would make it appropriate for both desktops and tablets.

As usual, Microsoft is very unlikely to borrow any ideas from this concept, but I do know that an OS version like this would be at least worth a shot for many people out there.
