It’s no secret that Microsoft is working on Windows 9 as we speak, and the company itself has confirmed that it’s preparing a new version of its flagship operating system, so no one should actually be surprised that a new build has recently been compiled and is ready for testing.

According to several Twitter posts, Windows 9 build 6.4.9803 has recently been sent for testing purposes, but there are absolutely no details right now on what’s changed in this particular version.

Just like it happens when new versions of a Windows operating system are said to be compiled, expect screenshots and other details to reach the web in the coming days, including screenshots that could reveal some of the features to be part of the next Windows release.

Of course, a screenshot revealing the Start menu is very likely to be presented too, and so are photos that could show Metro apps running on the desktop in their very own windows.

On the other hand, keep in mind that all of these are just rumors for now and don’t take them for granted, although it’s very clear that Microsoft is hard at work to release a new Windows version. According to rumors, Windows 9 should be launched in April 2015, but Microsoft is yet to confirm this.
