After adding full support for Windows 8 in iCloud Control Panel 2.1, Apple today released a new version of the cloud management utility for Microsoft Windows customers.

Compatible with Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7, and Windows 8, iCloud Control Panel 2.1.1 for Windows arrives with the same changelog as version 2.1. No changes are detailed, and Apple is yet to update its Support site to reflect the incrementation.

The iCloud Control Panel allows PC users who own an iCloud account to keep their contacts, calendars, and bookmarks up to date automatically between all their devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

The utility also includes Photo Stream to wirelessly push photos you take with your iDevice to the Pictures library on your PC.

iCloud requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5 or later. Alternately, to set up an account you can use a Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later. Microsoft Outlook 2007, or 2010 is also required. You’ll also need a new-generation web browser (like Chrome or Safari) to access email, contacts, and calendars.
